WELCOME! – A SUSTAINABLE VILLA WITH HISTORY

Welcome to the site of the Tuscan holiday home “Podere Campo alle Serpi”. This large house was originally built as a monastery. During the renovation, the architectural features have been beautifully preserved, making you feel right in old Italy. It is quietly located, yet close to the beaches of the Mediterranean and the famous vineyards of Bolgheri.  There is no less than 16 adults. Baby beds and high chairs are also present. All rooms exude the atmosphere of ancient Italy. There is a swimming pool, but the beach is also not far away.

At the beginning of 2022, we have started to make the house more sustainable. Solar panels and 2 large heat pumps to provide the house with hot water and heating.

Although it is wonderfully quiet here, the town of Cecina is nearby. Within 10 minutes you’ll be in town to do some shopping or stroll around the main market on Tuesday morning. Don’t forget to explore the area, as there are countless mountain villages that are well worth a visit: Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Bibbona, Suvereto etc.. You can find more about this on the special page. For the active people there is also a water park in Cecina and near Cecina Nord a climbing forest. You can also just walk and climb nearby.
